KEVIN DAVIS FOUNDATION
Since 2015, The Kevin Davis Foundation has worked diligently to provide underserved communities with access to economic mobility through workforce and professional development for the underrepresented students in Camden, New Jersey, and the surrounding metropolitan area.
Through partnerships with colleges, universities and community-based organizations, the Kevin Davis Foundation helps students progress through elementary to high school by providing them with options using scholarships opportunities to qualified individuals.
Given its extensive history of engagement and success in the community, The Kevin Davis Foundation is ideally suited to engage with leading edge educational opportunities as well as community related service programs.
CDF FREEDOM SCHOOL
The Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom School will be our flagship program and is an in-person 6-week summer program with a literacy CDF integrated reading curriculum, and a STEM enrichment program. This well-rounded summer program focuses on developing a love for reading, avenues for exploring science, technology, engineering, math, and encourages positive attitudes toward learning.
VALLEY CROSSROADS SDA
The Valley Crossroads SDA Church in Pacoima is an affiliate of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with approximately more than one million members in North America. The Adventist Church operates 173 hospitals and sanitariums and more than 7,500 schools around the world. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) works within communities in more than 130 countries to provide community development and disaster relief.
